Promise

By faith Abraham obeyed God when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance.  And he went out not knowing where he was going. Hebrews 11:8

There are times we don't even know where we are going, but the wind of God is blowing, directing us into our divine destinies.  Intersecting us to those places and moments of time where God uses us and propels us forward into the purposes and plans that He has for our lives.  There are times when the Lord leads me to the streets, and I know there is a soul in need, and that God has brought me right to them to share the word of His love and forgiveness.   Holy, Holy, Holy.  Our God is good.  How simple, yet divine.
Good things come from God, so that He may be exalted and glorified.  What father isn't honored when their children are blessed?  Abraham heard from God.  He had received a promise, even though in the natural Abraham had no children and Sarah was past the child bearing stage of her life.  But, God is a God of miracles.  He creates life where there was none...  He speaks and it is done and calls those things that be not, as though they were.  If only His children could raise up like Abraham and declare the word of the Lord over their lives, despite their circumstances.  If God says you are blessed and your circumstances tell you otherwise, shouldn't you come into agreement with God?  Look at yourself from God's point of view.  The cross of Jesus Christ and His resurrection has placed all believers into blood covenant with the Most High God.  God is a name changing, nature defying God.
God is calling you free in Him, saved, delivered, healed, provided for and just downright wonderful.  We are the treasure He died for to buy us back from the power of the wicked one, in His own blood.  This love propelled Him forward, so that He can now pour out His mercy and grace upon all who come to Him in faith.  The promise was spoken "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire," by John the Baptist in Mathew 3:11.  Do you sense the fire getting hotter and hotter.  In the end times the love of many will grow cold, but God wants our love and passion for Him to burn hot.  Our God is consuming fire, and He is sending the fire down upon the altars of our lives.  He delights in burning away the impurities and makeing us vessels of honor to pour forth His Spirit and Life to overflowing.  My cup overfloweth.  Every where we go people can smell and drink the life of Christ that now consumes us.   We are the temple of the Holy Spirit, set apart for the Master's use-spirit, soul, and body.
One foot in front of the other the Spirit leads as we surrender our wills to His, and acknowledge Him in all of our ways.  As we hand over our lives and simply believe, truly all things become possible.  What God has spoken will not come back void.  God spoke to me and told me His promises are like the stars.  To some this could sound sad because as brillant as they are, they seem so far away.  Only Jesus can take us to the stars as we cling to Him.  To the ancient mariners the stars were their navigational system, directing  their paths.  The promises of God are our guiding lights in these turbulent times.  Bright beacons of hope in the midst of cold darkness.  God's Holy Spirit is blowing like a mighty rushing wind filling our sails and propelling us forward to our promised land.
The birth of promise is upon us all.  The children of Israel wandered in the desert because of their unbelief and disobedience.  If only they could see the promise as theirs, instead of the giants.  God had already told them it was theirs for the taking, and that He would be with them.  They rebelled and died in the wilderness as a warning to us.  The promise is there to walk in.  May His Holy fire fall and consume us, as we thirst after Him.  If God be for us who can be against us?  Believe what God has spoken to your heart, and be blessed for Jesus said "My sheep hear my voice."  Abraham heard, and went forth.....
We had a great time ministering at the drug rehab, God is changing lives.  We have a lot to be grateful for as the hand of God is moving and building people up as the Word goes forth.  Thank you friends and partners for your encouragement and prayers, as we all reach this world for Jesus who has rescued us out of the dark, and is shining forth His Glory.  Shalom.
