Living Faith

     Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. What happened to Daniel was simply that he was set up by a bunch of leaders who were jealous of Him, because he had an excellent spirit and was being promoted. The king was deceived into making a decree that no one could petition or pray to anyone but him for thirty days. Daniel was known for praying three times a day and he wasn't going to stop. To the hungry lions he went.  Are you being unfairly accused or mistreated? Even though you are found doing the right thing?
     The good news is if you have made the God of Daniel your God, God is able to deliver you because you believe in Him. God is able to turn things around, and put to shame those who attack you and speak all sorts of evil against you, even though you are a bondservant of Christ and committed to doing His will for your life.
     God is no respector of persons and just as Daniel was found to have an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting dreams, and showing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts (Daniel 5:12) we can desire and pray for the same Spirit of wisdom and excellence as well. I know what some people would say, "well that was for Daniel." Listen my friends the Spirit of wisdom and revelation that the Apostle Paul prayed in the book of Ephesians is for all believers. The bible clearly teaches us that the ball is in our court. We are encouraged through the book of proverbs to seek and pursue wisdom and understanding. He said in His word draw nigh unto me and I will draw nigh unto you(James). Did you hear that? God is not holding back, but He gives liberally to all who approach Him and ask in faith.
     "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever" (Daniel 12:3)
     People have problems, confusing dreams, and even doubts. God can use you to dissolve them. Don't you want to be an eradicator of problems and confusion, turning many towards the Lord? It is my personal desire to see people grow, and when you impart words of life and understanding into people's lives you are helping them to be established and impacted for the kingdom of God, a kingdom that has no end and shall never be moved. People need to be impacted by and established in the truth, and He will use us to do it by the anointing of His Holy Spirit.
     First, God looks for truth in our inward parts, because you can't give what you don't got. For it is His truth that sustains us and sets us free. Then when we are obedient and sent, the truth that has set us free we can share with others, who can then experience miracles in their own lives as well. God's wisdom and grace is available to us to be received through simply believing or having confidence in Him and His word. God has laid an Axe to the old root system of sin and death through HIS DEATH UPON THE CROSS, and He is establishing us in the new creation as we meditate on the word and spend time with Him in worship and thanksgiving. For He is our God through Jesus Christ and His shed blood.
     With open ears and open hearts God is able to reveal His secrets and revelations to us as we spend time with Him. His sheep hear His voice and we are as close to God as we want to be. Our confidence and relationship with God has great reward, so don't be shaken by roaring lions or any pit you may have been thrown into, because God has a way out for you.
     People continually acknowledged in the book of Daniel that it was Daniel's God who was doing miracles on his behalf, sending angels, preserving, and even giving Daniel wisdom and understanding to share with leaders. When people see the wisdom of God coming out of you and they see your life being preserved when the devil attacks you, even unbelievers will give credit and glory to God. Isn't that wonderful when you hear the sinners say "thank God!"  That always blesses me. People are coming into the kingdom, and many more will come as the gospel is proclaimed and the Spirit of God is poured out, for He said, "My glory shall fill all of the earth."
     Are you hungry for Him today? Do you desire the God of Daniel to fill your life with His glory and understanding? Because you believe in God, you shall see great things. The bible promises us that those who know their God, shall do exploits. We can draw near today!
